Drug and Alcohol Classification and Prevention Strategies; Presented by Nancy Roget
The School of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Reno is excited to offer a series of workshops through our “Enhancing Behavioral Health Training for Social Workers in Nevada” (BHTNV) grant during the academic year 2016-2017. This workshop series was developed as part of a larger initiative designed to expand the behavioral health workforce serving Nevada’s children, adolescents, transitional age youth and their families. The workshops will be held in Reno and live streamed to the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Great Basin College in Pahrump and Elko. Funding for this is provided by a grant from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
All workshops offer 3 free social work CEUs (pending approval). A certificate of attendance will be provided for participants from other professions. To ensure compliance with the Licensing Board, attendance verification mechanisms will be implemented.
