About this event

Participants are encouraged to become "Citizen Scientists" by taking photographs of their observations and uploading them to the 2025 Nature Challenge Project page on iNaturalist.org  Bring your camera! 

This event is free and fun for all ages! There will food, games, exhibiters and activities. Learn about our local pollinators and native plants as you explore Floyd Lam Park at Tule Springs. 

Once participants upload their photos, they can learn more about what they -and others- have discovered at Floyd Lamb Park. This year our project page is captureing observations made throughout the year. Already we have over 800 observations documented, with 41 people having uploaded photos taken at Floyd Lamb park since the start of January 2025. We hope to have over 1,000 observations this year! We hope to have just as many activities and exhibitors at this year’s event… and maybe even a couple of new surprises!
