The 2026 NGIS Symposium will take place on November 18, 2026, at the University of Nevada, Reno.
This year's theme, "NGIS: The Next Generation," celebrates the future of geospatial technology and the people driving it forward. From emerging tools and innovative ideas to the experience and collaboration that have shaped our GIS community, the symposium will explore how today's partnerships are building tomorrow's solutions.
Whether you're an experienced GIS professional, student, educator, or newcomer to the field, you'll have the opportunity to connect, learn, and share ideas with colleagues from across Nevada and beyond.
Preconference training will also be offered on November 17. Details about the preconference trainings, general symposium details, registration form, and call for presentations and papers are available on the event website at ngis.org.
