​Let’s learn about the rich world of Latinx culture! From learning about unique styles of art to making various crafts, these fun activities will help you better understand how diverse Latinx culture is and how it has influenced the world. After this class, students will have more knowledge about Latin America, the importance of diversity and respect, and they will have created great souvenirs from their road trip! Closed to the public, lead by Mei-Mei Mijares. 

Participants learn about Animal and Plant Sciences, Healthy Lifestyles, STEM, and Civic Engagement through fun demonstrations, lessons, crafts, and games. Participants have fun and strengthen soft skills such as positive self-concept and sound decision-making. Participants learn the foundations of 4-H and the goal is to culminate in forming a 4-H club. This class is closed to the public and is only open to Nevada Rise Academy students.
