About this event

In these workshops youth will learn about the elements of art including color, hues/values, texture, and more. Have fun experimenting with painting techniques. Ages 11-17 are welcomed to participate.  In this series, youth will learn about the elements of art including color, hues/values, texture, and more. Participants will experiment with painting techniques (wet vs dry) and learn about supply usage, cleaning, and best practices.  Explore color theory and color mixing. Attempt different painting techniques and forms. Practice material portioning and usage as well as cleaning and care of supplies.

Open and free to the public.

Limited to 15 children.
