A Conversation on Campus Hunger
Join a roundtable discussion on campus hunger with special guests and student activists Oballa Oballa and Frankie Becerra from LeadMN!
Oballa is extremely passionate about food insecurity at two-year colleges and wants to make sure that campuses provide a food pantry for students who are struggling. Oballa and his Riverland student senate created a food pantry on their campus, which has been a great resource for their students.
At the 2018 Spring General Assembly, student delegates elected Frankie as the LeadMN president. His top priorities were food insecurity, reforming the LeadMN platform document and finding a permanent solution to DACA.
