AHVCS Forum: Art Writing Symposium

Join the Art History Visual Culture Studies (AHVCS) Forum, Composition and Communication in the Disciplines (CCID), and other local venues for a two-day symposium on art writing. The symposium will feature a range of dynamic speakers on five thematic themes:  Writing for the Public, Academic Writing in the Arts, Curatorial & Institutional Writing, Visual Arts & Writing, and the Failures & Uses of Writing. The speakers represent a wide range of perspectives including:  free-lance writers for local publications, editors, historians, arts administrators, curators, visual artists, and more. The AHVCS Forum promotes current research in and related to art history and visual culture studies.
