Apex Concerts: Songs of Thanksgiving

Apex Concerts welcomes to Hall Recital Hall one of the most distinguished ensembles in the world: the multi-award winning Brentano String Quartet. The ensemble-in-residence at the Yale School of Music, the Brentano has been praised for its “luxuriously warm sound [and] yearning lyricism” by the New York Times and The Times (London) simply proclaimed that “the Brentanos are a magnificent string quartet.” A deeply gratifying program featuring the works of Palestrina, Davidovsky and Beethoven Op. 132 mirrored by Mendelasohn Op. 13, will leave our audience with a sense of replenishment and wondrous harmony for all the works are united by the common thread of Gratitude and Thanksgiving.
