Argenta Concert Series: David Finckel and Wu Han Special Benefit Recital

The Argenta Concert Series to present a special benefit recital by two superstars of chamber music world. Legendary cellist David Finckel, winner of nine Grammy awards as a member of the Emerson String Quartet for more than 34 years and cello professor at the Juilliard School, will join the distinguished pianist Wu Han for a recital featuring the works of Bach, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Debussy and Britten. The two musicians recently were named Musicians of the Year by the Musical America magazine. They lead an unprecedented life as performers, educators, chamber musicians and promoters. The duo are the founders of the record company ArtistLed; the founders and co-artistic directors of Music@Menlo, one of the nations most prominent summer festivals; and the co-artistic directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, a prestigious chamber music organization in the United States.
