August 6th, 1945: My Story with Ms. Shigeko Sasamori

The Department of World Languages and Literatures is welcoming Ms. Shigeko Sasamori, a survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima – with Professor Kazumi Hatasa at Purdue University (facilitator). At the time of the bombing, she was only two miles away from the hypocenter. She will share her memories of that fateful day and her personal story of her life after the bombing.
