Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers

The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers classroom course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course covers one- and two-rescuer CPR for both adults and infants, and has a required written test. Students who successfully complete the course will receive an AHA BLS card.

The content of this course follows the AHA BLS Provider Manual.  You will be provided with a copy to reference during the training.  If you would like to prepare for the course, you may contact the instructor to check out a copy ahead of time.
