Bridging Boundaries - Free Networking with African Innovators

Have you found yourself wanting to expand your professional network? Then we have an event for you!

Join the Northern Nevada International Center on Wednesday, June 29 for a special networking event at Sierra Arts Foundation. Meet people from various professional industries, with special guests– the Mandela Washington Fellows!

The Mandela Washington Fellows are professionals from Sub-Saharan Africa that come from numerous professional industries, including business, technology, health, tourism, and more. The Mandela Washington Fellows are more than just entrepreneurs–they are leaders and innovators, both in their community and country, and are eager to connect, collaborate, and engage with individuals in Reno.

Upon arrival, you'll be given a name tag that reads, "Ask me about…". This is your opportunity to write an interesting fact about yourself that others can then ask you to elaborate on! (For example, do you play an instrument? Have you traveled to other countries?) This will help break the ice with other attendees, so that making new connections will feel like a breeze.

Refreshments and light bites to be provided by Wild River Grille
