Bruce Licher of Independent Project Press Presentation

Bruce Licher will give an illustrated lecture about his work as an artist and musician. He is widely recognized for his graphic design and letterpress printing of music packaging and related printed ephemera — from posters and album covers to postcards and promotional stamps. He has twice been nominated for a Grammy Award for his album packaging, and his design/ letterpress work has been featured in pivotal design publications and exhibitions across the country. Licher’s unique and layered style of printing using historical techniques have been used to promote bands such as R.E.M., Camper Van Beethoven, Stereolab, Nels Cline Trio, and more. Tickets: Free.
