Career Explorations: Women-in-STEM

Are you interested in pursuing a STEM career?

Curious about a day-in-the-life of a STEM professional?

Do you want to connect with successful women in STEM?

The Career Explorations: Women-in-STEM (CE-WIS) program matches students enrolled at UNR with female STEM professionals. Through career shadowing and/or mentoring, you will have the opportunity to explore STEM career pathways and gain confidence with a strong female role model. This exploration aims to help you learn how to leverage your curricular and professional goals.

All majors are welcome. Whether you’re already studying in a STEM field or interested in learning more, we invite you to explore your interests while working with a STEM professional.

The information you provide in your registration below will help us find your match. Matches will be, in part, determined by how specific or general  your responses are. You and your matched STEM professional will mutually agree about when, where and how to spend your 4-8 hours together between February 10th and April 15th.

Please contact Gina Russo at grusso@unr.edu with questions.
