Center for Constitutional Law's Speaker Series - Jeffrey Rosen
About this event
The Center for Constitutional Law invites you to a special event featuring Jeffrey Rosen discussing his newest book The Pursuit of Liberty. Mr. Rosen is the president and CEO of the National Constitution Center, a professor of law at George Washington University Law School and one of the nation’s leading constitutional scholars.
In his new book, The Pursuit of Liberty, Rosen traces the Hamilton–Jefferson divide through pivotal moments - Lincoln and secession, FDR and the New Deal, Reagan and Trump - showing how their visions continue to define the Supreme Court, Congress, and the presidency. Pulitzer Prize–winner Stacy Schiff calls it “an invigorating, marvelously cogent tour of democracy and its limits.” Historian Jon Meacham praises it as “a clarifying lens on our own time.”
Don’t miss this chance to hear from one of the nation’s foremost constitutional scholars about the battle over liberty and power, a battle that’s still shaping the future of American democracy.
Rosen’s new book will be distributed FREE to the first 150 attendees.
Light refreshments will be served.
