Chumash and Tataviam Storytelling with Alan Salazar

Please join Alan Salazar as he tells traditional Chumash and Tataviam stories. This event is open to the public. 

Alan Salazar is a member of the Fernandeño Tataviam Council of Elders and is Tataviam and Chumash. He has been a Native American consultant/monitor, a traditional storyteller, a spiritual advisor, and a traditional paddler of Chumash canoes. Alan published one of his original stories, Tata the Tataviam Towhee in 2020.
