Cybersecurity is crucial for all organizations but can be especially challenging for small businesses. Daniel Eliot, lead for small business engagement within the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), U.S. Department of Commerce, will discuss his agency’s resources for small businesses. He also will discuss NIST’s role in supporting U.S. innovation and competitiveness in his keynote address,  “Creating small business on-ramps to NIST cybersecurity guidance.”  

The University of Nevada, Reno Cybersecurity Conference brings together industry and academia to tackle the growing challenges of cybersecurity. The focus of the annual conference is to build potential partnerships among agencies and organizations interested in securing online data.
