Deconstructing the Race Talk Virtual Support Group
Talking about race can be scary! This 1-hour virtual support group can help you process and navigate issues that arise when having difficult conversations about race.
The unique needs of the group members will dictate the specific topics covered. Some of the issues that may be covered include understanding and acknowledging one’s own trauma response to talking about race, the practice of reflecting on one’s own ability to tolerate uncomfortable emotions that may arise, learning how to bridge the gap between others to have deeper meaningful conversations, and identifying one’s own relationship to being an ally.
To register to participate in this support group, please contact Krystal Smith, M.S at firstname.lastname@example.org.
