Developing a Foundation for Sustained Philanthropic Support: A Certificate Program

To support our participation in this program, we are inviting you to an opportunity to support and strengthen your engagement work with UNR’s various Councils, Committees and Advising Boards, via a 5-week on-demand learning opportunity.
What? Developing a Foundation for Sustained Philanthropic Support: A Certificate Program for Deans and Academic Leaders is a five-week program led by Academic Impressions our higher education learning partner. The certificate program teaches you how leadership, collaboration, and philanthropic vital signs can combine into a larger strategy to strengthen donor engagement for your unit. The program consists of weekly e-mails and short on-demand videos / activities. Two live sessions are built into the program (available on demand for those who can’t attend live).
Who? Those involved with engaging community stakeholders including current or aspiring deans, assistant or associate deans, center or institute directors, chairs, and other academic leaders will benefit from this course. If you are looking to improve your partnerships with colleagues, alumni, and donors while creating a thriving culture of philanthropy, you will benefit from this experience.
When? The program begins October 21st 2024. You can expect to spend between 1 and 3 hours a week for involvement in the program (at a time that works for you), totaling 9.5 hours over the 5 weeks.
