About this event

Eight easy lessons to improve the health of your children and family.

• You will learn about healthy eating, food safety, planning meals, and much more.
• You will do fifteen minutes of physical activity from the comfort of your home.
• You will receive gifts such as a cutting board, measuring cups, a cookbook, and many more items to help you apply the information you learn in the course.

Upon registration, you will receive three form links and assigned login info to complete ASA 24-hour food recall from Rosario Lopez (lopezr@unr.edu). The four forms are required to receive incentives and dietary reports.

Class will be every Wednesday & Thursday from Jun 10, 2026 to July 2, 2026, 10:00-11:00 AM via Zoom. Late registration is on Jun 11/2026.

Must attend a minimum of six classes to receive a certificate of completion and all incentives.

ONLY FOR NEVADA RESIDENTS

At the end of the course, you will receive the following items:

• Cutting board
• Water bottle
• Grocery list
• Produce brush
• Cook safe magnet
• Food thermometer
• Resistance Band
• Measuring spoons and cups
• Cookbook
