Elevator Pitch Workshop

About this event
As part of the Professional & Career Development Series, this in-person workshop will help graduate students craft a clear, compelling elevator pitch for job searches, 3MT, and professional networking. Led by Dr. Maureen McBride, Director of the University Writing & Speaking Center, participants will learn how to communicate their value, tailor messages to different audiences, and deliver with confidence. The workshop will take place Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 12–1 p.m. PT in JCSU 301 (Graduate Lounge).
This workshop is collaboratively hosted by the University of Nevada, Reno Graduate Student Association, Graduate School, Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, and the University Writing & Speaking Center.
