EPIC Lab: High School Materials Science & Engineering (Ages 14 to 18 years)
By Office of Community Outreach at the College of Engineering
About this event
Are you a parent of a student interested in engineering? A scout leader searching for STEM opportunities for your troop or science club? Or a home-school parent looking to supplement your child’s learning with hands-on activities?
We invite you to join us for EPIC Lab, a free, in-person Saturday program hosted by University of Nevada, Reno students. These labs offer fun, hands-on lessons in real-world engineering topics—from materials science to aerospace—designed to inspire curiosity and creativity in students.
These labs are created especially with underserved communities and families with limited access to engineering resources in schools in mind. We want to ensure that all students—regardless of background—have a chance to explore the endless possibilities of engineering in a supportive, engaging environment.
Spots are limited, and we expect them to fill quickly. Please scan the QR code on the attached flyer or visit our website to register.
