Experience the mysteries of Black Holes….

In February we turn our attention to some of the most powerful objects in the universe.

See a fulldome show from one of the world’s largest planetariums, the Clark Planetarium, narrated by the Star Trek actor who plays “Q” : John de Lancie.

On First Friday, we’ll hear the ethereal music of harp player Regan Gallagher.

On Second Saturday, we’ll do a hands-on workshop. Learn more about black holes, how they form, and create a model of a black hole.

We’ll also meet Dr. Rich Plotkin, an astrophysicist who studies black holes using space and ground-based telescopes. He’ll give us an overview of this fascinating phenomena and a briefing on the latest research he and other scientists are currently conducting.

Boldly go where you have never gone before!
