Ever wonder what it is like to study music? This open house event for students, parents, and community members of all ages provides the opportunity for you to explore studying music performance, music education, jazz, recording arts, composition and music history at the University level. Join us for activities such as: live performances, facilities tours, equipment demos, and presentations by our faculty and students.

Come for the entire event, or just a couple of hours, and experience for yourself what it is like to major, minor, or participate in music at the University of Nevada, Reno.

• Who is this event for? Middle School Students, High School Students, University Students, Parents, and Community Members of all ages 
• Who will participants meet? Instrumental Faculty, Vocal Faculty, Jazz Faculty, Music Education Faculty, Musicologists, Composers, Conductors, Large Ensemble Directors, Recording Arts Technicians, Music Fraternities, Music Sororities and Music Students
• What facilities will be featured? Performance Halls, Rehearsal Spaces, the University Fine Arts Building, and the Church Fine Arts Building 
• What performances will I experience? Performance groups such as student winds, brass, strings, voice and percussion chamber ensembles, student jazz combos, our Wolf Pack pep band, mariachi ensemble, piano soloists and faculty performers.
