Exploring the Lake Tahoe Environment Through the Lens

Combine your photography skills with a deeper understanding of place to build a compelling portfolio visualizing the Tahoe landscape. Through on-site experiences at curated locations throughout the basin, we will explore how photographic images are shaped by historical context and current environmental issues. Afternoons will be devoted to digital editing techniques, including image curation, color correction, and nondestructive workflow strategies. The workshop concludes with a group visit to the Nevada Museum of Art and the A+E Lab.

Classes meet Monday- Friday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm with an hour lunch.
