Each fruit tree has its own characteristics and therefore needs to be pruned to accommodate the way fruit sets on that particular variety. If you are new to growing fruit trees, start by taking the Fruit Tree Care 101 and then follow up with the variety you want to grow. (See listings to register for those specific trees in the classes below.)  Basics taught in the Fruit Tree Care 101 will NOT be repeated in the classes that address the actual pruning of  the trees.
