Want to grow fruit at home, but don’t know what to do? Most fruit and nut trees do very well in the Mojave Desert but need a strong start. This course will cover how to plant, how to train the scaffold and how to care for that new tree for the first few years so you can enjoy its fruits for years to come. Learn the essentials with Master Gardener Yutaka Nomura. 

This class is the prerequisite for all of the specific varieties of fruit tree classes we offer.
