Summers are getting hotter and present a significant risk to gardeners in the warmer months – especially as we age. Master Gardener Gail Brandys will share a PowerPoint presentation on how you can protect yourself from heat-related illness as you garden this summer. Awareness of the symptoms of the various heat-related illnesses as well as acclimatization and hydration are important keys to staying safe while enjoying our outdoor hobbies.
