For adults 50 and older, save the date! April 7, 8 and 9, 2026.

The University of Nevada, Reno Extension Healthy Aging Initiative team is hosting a fun and interactive, but relaxing, experience at Camp Alamo for older adults. Come join in the fun at this nature lover's overnight camp, that will give you peace of mind while also having fun!

Camp registration will include:

• Transportation from our Clark County Paradise office to Alamo, NV and back to our Clark County Paradise office
• Dorm-style overnight lodging
• Picnic lunch and onsite breakfast, lunch, dinners & snacks
• Outside trails, mountain views, and adventures
• Campfire, stargazing, archery, games, arts and crafts, nature and journaling activities
• Informational classes on wellness topics on mental health and well-being, nutrition, preventive care, physical activity, social engagement, and healthy aging overall.

We will meet at the Extension office around 8am and then we will van you up to 4-h Camp Alamo. You can keep your cars in the gated office community, or you can get dropped off/picked up.
