Please join us for Holiday Wine Tasting hosted by the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology & Natural Resources with the Nevada Alumni Association & Nevada Sunset Winery.

We'll kick off the holiday season by celebrating the release of the 2024 University of Nevada, Reno White Wine Blend, a collaboration of the College and Nevada Sunset Winery. The wine, made with grapes harvested from the College’s Research Center & Demonstration Orchard in North Las Vegas and a private vineyard in Silver Springs, is a lovely blend showcasing notes of honeysuckle, jasmine, pear, citrus and a hint of lychee.

The evening features an unlimited tasting of our 100% Nevada-grown wine and charcuterie-style appetizers all for $27 per person. Discounted pricing is available for Nevada Alumni Association members (check your email).

While you’re enjoying the evening, get an early start on your gift shopping at the event! Donations of $100 or more to the College will receive a bottle of the 2024 University Red Wine Blend in a wool wine bag, made from the fine wool of the College’s Rafter-7 Merino sheep. Donations will support the ongoing work of the wine collaboration and the College's Desert Farming Initiative. Please note, these gift sets are in limited supply.

More choices from Nevada Sunset Winery’s line of fine wines will be available by the glass or bottle for an additional fee.
