Ignite Integrity: Dialogue and a Movie

Research Integrity presents Miss Evers’ Boys. Join us for a discussion following the film led by Caesar Andrews, PhD, regarding ethical issues in the conduct of the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment and the role of ethics in an increasingly changing world.

The true story of the Tuskegee Syphilis
Experiment conducted between 1932 and 1972 by the U.S. Public Health Service. Miss Evers’ Boys provides an example of why experimentation, while supporting the common good, should nonetheless be carried out in a purposeful and moral way and the need for scientific integrity and education in conducting studies of humans.
