Understanding the unique skills and challenges of learners from rural or frontier backgrounds is crucial in a medical learning environment. These students and trainees are culturally diverse and have very different educational backgrounds. By identifying these cultural differences and maximizing teaching effectiveness, we can better support this underrepresented group.
