Inclusive Excellence in Teaching - Teaching and Reaching Low-SES Students
About this event
Students from low socioeconomic status (SES) backgrounds bring both unique challenges and unique strengths to their medical training. In this presentation, you’re invited to challenge your assumptions and expand your awareness of the impact of socioeconomic status through research findings, student stories, and opportunities for reflection. Practical strategies will be presented that will empower you to teach and mentor your students more effectively.
