How does drought stress in plants impact insect outbreaks and the severity of damage? What can we do when drought and insects combine forces to try to take down our plants? This 1-hour Cultiavating Healthy Plants webinar will delve into these questions and provide practical strategies to reduce insect damage even when water is limited.

Our speaker is Desireè Wickwar, the IPM Program Manager at the University of Idaho. Her background is in ecology entomology, with a MS from Utah State University where she studied insect management, including research on the interplay between drought stress, drought resistance, and arthropod outbreaks in a number of plant-insect systems.
