About this Event
Gardening in Small Places:
This is a two-part class. Part one is a ZOOM Class on 6/14/25 Part two is a garden tour. There is not a separate registration for only Part Two.
This presentation serves as a reminder of the importance of pollinators, why they deserve our attention, what pressures are they facing and how you can help. Come and let Master Gardeners Michael Kauzlarich and JoJami Tyler teach you about the practical steps involved with creating a pollinator-friendly garden or enriching your existing outdoor space with biodiversity-supporting plants in Southern Nevada. Uncover effective seed planting techniques, while our instructors offer their research findings, insights, and additional valuable resources.
The second Saturday (6/21/25) we will take a walk in the extension gardens. During the walk we will be looking at pollinator and native plant work being conducted in our gardens. YOU MUST BE REGISTERED FOR PART ONE TO TAKE THE PART TWO TOUR. There are no registrations for only Part Two.
