Laboratory Safety Classroom Training (Part 1 of 2)

After completing this portion of the Laboratory Safety Training series, trainees must also attend Laboratory Safety Hands-On Training (Part 2 of 2).  If research involves biological agents, Laboratory Biosafety Training (Supplement to Part 1) is also required.

Laboratory Safety Training is required for all those who work in or supervise work in laboratories or stockrooms containing chemical, biological, or radiological hazards.  Tenure-track and/or research faculty DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEND the hands-on portion of the course, but must complete the classroom portion.
