Little Books Little Cooks (10:00am)

Is a 6-week program designed for families with preschoolers of ages 3-5 years old to promote healthy eating, family literacy, and positive parent-child interaction.

Each week features a children’s book, recipes and families participate in a cooking activity together.

Families will learn about:

  • Food safety for families.
  • MyPlate and the 5 food groups.
  • Benefits of cooking with children.
  • Helpful tips for picky eaters.
  • Importance of fruits and vegetables.
  • The Hungry Meter.
  • Foods from other cultures.

Duration: 1hour - (10a.m. - 11a.m.)

*All classes and materials are free.
