Making Math Fun: Discovering shapes in the preschool classroom
About this event
Part of the Early Childhood Workforce Development program, this training is about incorporating math into the preschool classroom. We will discuss why learning about shapes is important and how children learn through the exploration of shapes. Some of the areas of learning in this training include fine motor, language, creative thinking, and spatial awareness.
The Early Childhood Workforce Training is offered to early childhood providers for the purpose of meeting the annual Nevada State Early Childhood training requirements. Employees must complete a minimum of 24 hours of training annually to continue employment in a licensed child care center or home care.
This training is just one of a variety of research-based trianing topics that are pesented by the Workforce development training team. All training courses are approved by the Nevada Registry.
