About this event
Never Felt Better is a thesis exhibition by Kaija MacKinnon. It is a sequential work that makes an effort to digest the realities of mental illness through the cycle of intervention, death, and mourning. This exhibition is formatted as a walk-through picture book that explores the connection between the world of illustration and fine art through metaphorical storytelling.
Never Felt Better will be on display in Sheppard Contemporary from April 14-22, 2026 from 12-4pm (excludes Mondays). Join Kaija for an artist lecture on Thursday April 16 in Schulich Lecture Hall #3 at 5:30 followed by a reception in the gallery until 8pm.
