MFA thesis exhibition, Sound of the Gods, by Jerry David will be on view in Student Galleries South from April 7-15, 12-4pm.
Sound of the Gods is a multidisciplinary project that examines how the Gwoza people in the Northern part of Nigeria use sound, chants, and drumming as sacred tools for communication with spiritual forces and ancestral realms.
Jerry David will give an artist lecture will take place on April 9 from 5-6pm in Schulich Lecture Hall #1. A reception will follow from 6-8pm.
