Mingle and Make: An Early Career Faculty Networking Event

Friday, Feb. 6, 2026 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the DeLaMare Science and Engineering Library and Makerspace

Early career faculty interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance using the Libraries' Ticket Tailor form.

This event is crafted especially for early career University faculty! The Libraries and DeLaMare teams are excited to meet early career faculty and connect them with colleagues from around campus! Presented by the University Libraries and the Office of the Provost, this free event will enable early career faculty to make connections with colleagues and meet the people behind a variety of campus resources to help early career faculty achieve teaching success.

Join the event and enjoy  a glass of wine and nibbles, networking and some fun making activities in the DeLaMare Makerspace. Leave with new connections, and some goodies you'll make yourself with the help of DeLaMare's Maker Wranglers! Gain an understanding of the breadth of resources provided by the University Libraries and the Office for Advancements in Teaching Excellence.

The event is free and open to University early career faculty but registration is required. For questions, please contact: Rebecca Glasgow at Rnglasgow@unr.edu.
