Event 1: MLK Day of Service with Boys & Girls Club
Date: Monday, January 19, 2026
Time: 9:45 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Boys & Girls Club, 1090 Bresson Ave, Reno, NV
Partner with the Center for Student Engagement and the City of Reno for a day of learning and action!
- Lead an art activity to create marching signs
- Participate in a freedom march
- Read and discuss MLK’s story with kids
What to Bring:

Event 2: Planting for Kindness (On Campus at the KC Rotunda)
Date: Thursday, January 22, 2026
Time: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Location: KC Rotunda
Looking for a creative way to serve? Join us for a hands-on project that spreads joy to local seniors!
- 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM: Paint terra cotta pots and plant indoor plants that will go to Atria Senior Living
