About this event
Part of the Early Childhood Workforce Development program, this training is designed to help participants emotionally connect to dramatic play, recognize its value, and reflect on how pretend play shaped their own learning and social skills. We want to help teachers understand why dramatic play matters and how to intentionally set it up to support learning and behavior.
The Early Childhood Workforce Training is offered to early childhood providers for the purpose of meeting the annual Nevada State Early Childhood training requirements. Employees must complete a minimum of 24 hours of training annually to continue employment in a licensed childcare center or home care.
This training is just one of a variety of research-based training topics that are presented by the Workforce development team. All training courses are approved by the Nevada Registry.
