Fleischmann Planetarium will open at 7 a.m. on Thursday, December 4 to join the first flight of NASA's next-generation Orion spacecraft in progress!  Join us before work and school for coffee, hot chocolate, live NASA programming on monitors around the site and on the dome screen of our planetarium theater, giveaways, expert interpretation, and more; the inaugural flight culminates with a planned ocean splashdown just after 8:30 a.m. but    the fun continues with special free shows of "Delivery from Earth" in our lobby at 9 and 11 a.m., and "Dawn of the Space Age" in our dome theater at 10 a.m. and 12 noon!  In partnership with the Challenger Learning Center of Northern Nevada, we will head to their mission control at Sparks High School after 3 p.m. for a panel discussion with regional NASA researchers and more immersive activities!
