 NSF-supported STEM disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's an
 d doctoral degrees at accredited U.S. institutions. The five-year fellowsh
 ip includes three years of financial support\, including an annual stipend
  of $37\,000 and a cost of education allowance of $16\,000 to the institut
 ion.\n\nThe NSF GRFP welcomes applications from individuals who meet the e
 ligibility requirements. Please note\, that one eligibility requirement is
  that you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident by the application
