About this event
A 2-Day In-person and Virtual Event Supporting the Transition of Youth into Adulthood!
The Youth Transition Summit is designed to support young people with disabilities as they transition from adolescence to adulthood. This dynamic summit brings together youth and young adults (ages 14+), families, caregivers, educators, and professionals for meaningful learning, connection, and practical tools that promote independence and long-term success.
Participants will engage in expert-led workshops, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities focused on critical transition topics, including healthcare management, career readiness and employment, independent living, self-advocacy, education, and more.
Nevada educators, school nurses, and school counselors may earn up to 13 continuing education units (CEUs) for attending. Scholarships are also available for youth and their family members to help offset registration costs.
Whether you are a young person preparing for independence, a family member supporting a loved one, or a professional working in the field, the Youth Transition Summit offers valuable resources, tools, and connections to help navigate the journey to adulthood with confidence.
