Nevada Geosciences Symposium 2026

Friday, April 10, 2026
University of Nevada, Reno

Join Us for the

2nd Annual Nevada Geosciences Research Symposium

at the University of Nevada, Reno!

This day-long event brings together students, factuly, staff, and researchers in the integrated Nevada Geosciences group which includes members of the Department of Geological Sciences and Engineering, The Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology, and the Nevada Seismological Laboratory.

The NGRS provides an opportunity for undergraduate students, graduate students, researchers, and post docs to present their research to the broader Nevada Geosciences community as well as members of other University departments, industry, other government agencies, and the public.  We hope this sharing of knowledge and research will inspire great discussions and potential collaborations.
