The Nevada Nursing Summit is Nevada’s premier gathering of nurses and healthcare leaders, bringing together professionals from practice, education, administration, research, advocacy, and government to explore the issues shaping the future of nursing. The Summit provides a forum for policy-focused dialogue, leadership development, collaboration and innovation to strengthen Nevada’s nursing workforce and improve health outcomes across the state. CEUs will be available to eligible attendees who participate in the Summit. Sponsorship opportunities and group tables are available.

Keynote Speaker
We are honored to welcome Sarah DiGregorio as our keynote speaker. An acclaimed journalist and author of "Taking Care", DiGregorio is recognized for her compelling work highlighting the vital role nurses play in healthcare and society. Her insights into caregiving, patient advocacy, and the history and impact of nursing will provide a thought-provoking foundation for this year’s discussions.

Featured Speaker
James Q. Simmons, DNP, NP, is a sought-after nurse practitioner and media expert who helps healthcare professionals communicate complex topics with clarity and impact. His session will teach nurses how to confidently engage with the media and become trusted voices for health in their communities.

Attendees can look forward to a dynamic day of thought-provoking presentations, practical learning opportunities and meaningful engagement. The Summit features inspiring speakers, breakout sessions led by nursing experts, a legislative panel discussion and student poster presentations. Participants will also enjoy a Tuscan buffet lunch and a networking reception with hors d’oeuvres, providing additional opportunities to connect with colleagues, industry leaders and speakers. The reception will also feature a book signing with Sarah DiGregorio, with copies of her book available for purchase.
