4-H camping is cooperative group living that focuses on the individual's social, spiritual, mental, and physical development for youth ages 9-12.

The 4-H overnight camping program is educationally focused. These camps involve trained professional staff, as well as highly skilled adult and teen volunteers in working with and supervising all campers. Adult volunteers are welcome to apply and must be registered and fingerprinted.

Camp registrations are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis and will be open until filled or 6/14 - whichever comes first.

Important dates:

• 5/1/24 - Registration opens for currently enrolled 4-H members of Washoe, Douglas, Carson, and Storey County.
• 5/16/24 - Registration opens for all youth in Washoe, Douglas, Carson, and Storey County.
• 4/12/24 - Applications due on or before this date for Teen Counselors.
• 6/24/24 - Camper Orientation - open to new and returning campers and their families.
• 7/7-7/13 - Overnight Camp
