About this event

The Pack Prompt-A-Thon: Wolf Pack vs. AI is an innovative hands-on event designed to advance responsible use of AI at the University of Nevada, Reno. Teams (3 students per team) from every college including Liberal Arts, Science, Engineering, Journalism, Business, Health, and others will collaborate to compete and push the boundaries of AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, and others to:

• Craft effective, creative, and precise prompts using AI tools.
• Detect bias, hallucinations, and ethical risks in AI-generated outputs.
• Solve real-world, domain-specific problems using responsible AI strategies.
• Communicate their AI use approaches to faculty judges.

Open to: ALL students at the University of Nevada, Reno from EVERY discipline—Arts, Sciences, Engineering, Journalism, Business, Health, and more! 

Teams: 3 students per team. Team members must register individually by March 25.
